$50,000 DELIA Loan Unlocks Growth for Maison Apothecare

A pioneer in natural skincare backed by Nventure and Boundless Accelerator, Maison Apothecare secures $50,000 DELIA loan to expand operations.

Maison Apothecare is set to expand their business operations and explore new opportunities. This family-owned Canadian brand (established in 2012) offers natural products based on exceptional ingredients and healing bio-active formulations that are sustainable and gentle on the skin. Their distinctive approach to purity and style is gaining considerable attention. Founder Natacha Rey has been featured and profiled by Women of Influence, Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME) HERStory section and the Canadian SME Business Magazine, amongst other publications. Her products, which have appeared in Vanity Fair and Vogue, are proudly registered Ontario Made, and in-house manufactured.

“We are so honoured to have had the support of Nventure at this crucial time or growth and expansion overseas for both Lemon Aide and Maison Apothecare,” Rey adds. “A huge thank you to Boundless Accelerator for making the process smooth and effortless and for bringing Maison Apothecare to the attention of Nventure.”

Natacha’s plan for 2025 was to seek investors who shared her vision and passion. Having witnessed her determination, the team at Boundless Accelerator worked to rapidly prequalify Rey’s venture for DELIA as part of an access to innovation capital initiative for accelerators, a partnership with Nventure Business Development Corporation.

The result was a flexible $50,000 loan that empowered Rey’s company to purse business expansion opportunities and distribution of new products like Lemon Aide Detergent, including listings on Walmart’s online marketplace. The Lemon Aide line is a full range of environmentally responsible and refillable products for all types of household cleaning.

“Natacha Rey has a demonstrated track record of excellence, a commitment to product innovation and overall commercial savvy,” said Wendy Curtis, CEO of Nventure. “She also has a strong vision for environmental sustainability. We are proud to back her efforts and look forward to the next chapter of Maison’s rise.”

Nventure’s ecosystem partners, like Boundless, identify and pre-qualify top clients emerging from programs like Rhyze® Up! ensuring DELIA financing comes in at the right time for Boundless companies like Maison Apothecare.

“Natacha’s unwavering commitment and visionary leadership have been the driving force behind Maison Apothecare’s success,” said Alison Crumblehulme, CEO of Boundless Accelerator. “Access to innovation capital tools like DELIA is essential in empowering entrepreneurs, driving innovation, and fostering economic growth in our communities. We look forward to witnessing the transformative impact she will achieve through this investment.”

Finally, when DELIA loans are repaid, dollars recirculate to other women-owned ventures across Canada in perpetuity, so that when one business is successful, other businesses can attract the investment they need to achieve their potential without facing gender-biased financial barriers to growth.
