Governed by an experienced and passionate Board of Directors made up of entrepreneurs and experts in their fields, Nventure is committed to the development of the industries of Canada’s future.

The purposes of our non-profit corporation are:

• To advance economies through innovation and entrepreneurship.

• To enable the success of businesses, industries and communities.

• To provide organizations with funding, financing and strategy services.

For our funders, primarily the Government of Canada, we deliver economic development outcomes. For our corporate sponsors, we work to achieve multiple bottom lines, including sustainability and gender equality in access to capital and entrepreneurial development. With our partners, we align with the goals of cleantech innovation and strengthening Canada’s critical sectors, such as agri-food, biotech, advanced manufacturing and AI.

We do all of this while maintaining our commitment to the resilience of main street and the established bedrock of our economy: small businesses, professionals, family-run firms, social enterprise and co-operatives, agricultural enterprise and all local producers and markets.
