S2 E3 Meals on the Move

Brad McKay, Founder and CEO of Meals on the Move, envisions meal production microfactories dropped all across Canada, configured with the latest in robotic food preparation technologies. His aim is to change the landscape of institutional catering in this country by providing fresh and fast delivery while freeing up his customers' time and resources to better care for the people they serve.

Late in his corporate management career, Brad left the President's office to launch this new venture and quickly found himself in the midst of the very "Innovator's Dilemma" described in Clayton Christensen's seminal work. Brad laughs while admitting that he is now "living the book" as an entrepreneur. Adding momentum out of the gate, Meals on the Move was seed-funded by Nventure's thriveFORWARD initiative, with the support of FedDev Ontario and the Government of Canada.
